The Results of candidates who participated in the recently concluded National Examinations Council (NECO) 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for candidates in their third year of Junior Secondary School (JSS 3) have been released and published online.

The latest report reaching us today is that the JSS3 BECE / Junior WAEC examination result has been successfully uploaded on the official NECO portal @ result.neco.gov.ng. Using this medium, I’ll love to notify all principals, and parents, to visit the BECE result-checking website to check their student’s/ward’s results.

How To Check JSS3 BECE / Junior WAEC Result 2023.

  • Firstly you need to purchase a Result Token before you can access the JSS3 BECE result.
  • Next, visit the result checking portal at https://result.neco.gov.ng
  • Select the Basic Education Certificate Result in the Exam Type Section.
  • Proceed and Select the exam year e.g 2023
  • Scratch the result checking card and type in the PIN or Token in the box provided.
  • Enter the Examination number in the blank column as shown in the image above.
  • Click on the “Check Result” button, then a pop-up page will display your result.

NOTE: If you follow this step correctly you won’t have any difficulties checking your result.

Is BECE Result for Jss3 2023 out?

No! as at the time of writing this, the BECE 2023 result is not yet released.

BECE Grading System.

This is how the JSS3 BECE / Junior WAEC 2023 Grading System works. I have to explain how the BECE grading system works, and it’s obvious that its grading system/method is different from our normal conventional grading method.

The grading system of Junior WAEC (JSCE) result is as follow:

  • A – Distinction.
  • B – Upper Credit.
  • C – Lower Credit.
  • P – Pass.
  • F – Fail.

How to Check BECE / Junior Waec Result 2023 by State.

Unlike the WAEC result and JAMB result checker, where candidates can use one site to check their results, the BECE result checker is not national. Candidates who partake in the BECE examination can check their results via a state-sponsored site. This means that a JSS3 candidate who wrote their exam in Lagos state can only use the Lagos state BECE result checker to check their junior Waec result.

DELTA STATE.

  • The first step is to visit the Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (DELTAMOBSE) portal via https://deltamobse.net/uportal/index.php.
  • Note that you’ll need to click on the Check Secondary Result Status (USING EXAM. NO.)
  • Enter Pin Code and Examination Number in the boxes provided
  • Click on the Submit Button to access your ward’s result.

BAUCHI STATE.

  • The first step is to visit the Bauchi State Ministry of Education portal via http://bece.moebauchi.bu.gov.ng.
  • Next, proceed and Click on the Login to your Account button.
  • You’ll be required to type in/Enter your Pin Code in the blank box provided.
  • Click on the Sign in Button to access your ward’s result.

NASARAWA STATE.

  • Go to the official website via http://erc.nasmoe.net.ng/bece.
  • Enter your username and password
  • Click Login
  • On the top right corner, click BECE Result Examination.
  • Your result will be downloaded and available in PDF.

PLATEAU STATE.

  • Visit plabece.com.ng,
  • Click on “open result checker”
  • Input your scratch card number, the candidate’s full examination number, and date of birth.
  • Finally, proceed by clicking on preview and your result will show.

Important Note:

It is mandatory that all Government Public Junior Secondary Schools should proceed and collect their schools’ results from their district headquarters. However, all Private-owned Junior Secondary Schools that are registered and approved should collect their school results from respective Liaison officers.

Finally, Principals of Approved Private Junior Secondary Schools that registered for the examination should visit the Board Head Office.
