Is JAMB Result for 2023 out?

Take note that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 25th April 2023. This implies that the result of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for 2023 is NOT YET released.

How to Check JAMB Result 2023.

There are ONLY three viable methods you can use to check JAMB result and know your UTME score. You can check jamb result with registration number, JAmB result checker portal login, and SMS.

Here’s how to check your JAMB result.

1. First step is to visit the JAMB portal https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility_/CheckUTMEResults.
2. When the portal loads up, type in your registration number or Mobile Number in the blank box provided.
3. Finally, click on the “Check My Result” button and wait for your result to be displayed on your screen.

SMS Method.

This method can only be successful when you use the same phone number you used for your JAMB registration. To check your result via SMS, use the guide below.

• Send UTMERESULT via SMS to 55019 or 66019.

The result would be replied to as an SMS immediately or between 10-30 minutes. You’ll be charged 50Naira. The SMS will contain each subject score and your total UTME score.

I Sent UTMEResult to 55019 and 66019, But not sending my result?

For candidates who have sent UTMERESULT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 and didn’t receive any reply containing their results, here are available solutions to resolving this.

• First reason why you may not recieve your JAMB score is that you’re using a different phone number to check your result, other than the phone number you provided during your JAMB registration. If you used another number, JAMB won’t send your result to you.
• During this period, the shortcode is likely experiencing delays due to high traffic, so it is advisable to send the message at midnight.
• Ensure you have at least, 50Naira as your airtime balance.
• Sometimes, the problem may likely be your network provider.
• If you have been charged but didn’t receive your result, then you should make sure that your phone number is not on Do Not Disturb (DND).

What Next After Checking Your JAMB Result?

As promised, the next step to ensuring your get admitted into your school of choice after checking your JAMB result, is to print your JAMB result slip. If your school writes the Post UTME screening examination, start preparing for it. Because if you scored 300+ in JAMB and scored below your selected institution Post UTME cut off mark, you won’t be offered admission.
